Before Tim started on our garden it was, quite literally, a jungle. The previous owner had been an over-keen gardener and had solidly planted it with rows of bushes, tree saplings, 3 sheds and an ancient greenhouse, as well as digging out 2 rather large ponds and adding a concrete stream that ran from top to bottom. We had major works carried out on the house and just didn’t get round to even looking at the garden for 3 years. By which time you couldn’t even access over half of it!

We have a very adventurous toddler (who isn’t averse to falling into the odd pond or three) so we decided to enlist Tim’s help to clear the garden and create a great (and safe) space for our son to play in. And so the digger rolled in!

To say we are delighted with the end result would be an understatement. We now have a gorgeous lush lawn, plenty of room to play ball, a brand new patio area for entertaining, raised beds for us to grow vegetables, and a child-friendly pond with staged decking – perfect for teaching our son about frogs and newts and dragonflies and waterboatmen.....

Tim was able to turn what was previously un-usable into our perfect family garden.

We set Create Outdoors the task to create a mature, child friendly and low maintenance garden.  Tim came up with a stunning design – turning a square patch of lawn into a circle with a centrepiece border.  

Following a meeting with us to run through planting requirements Tim selected the entire stock and the results are stunning; plants are of extremely high quality and have thrived.  Inevitably in a project of this size the spec changed as we added further bits and pieces (some of them quite large and time consuming) all of which the friendly and approachable team Tim brought on site took in their stride.  

The team were skilled across all aspects of garden design, installation and maintenance and it was a joy to watch the project take shape.  All in all one of the best investments I have ever made.
